Greek pop singer Eleni Foureira, who tried to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 with the song “Kivotos Tuo Noe” along with Manos Pyrovolakis wants to represent Greece at Eurovision. They came second after “OPA!” by Giorgos Alkaios & Friends. She also sent ERT, the Greek national broadcaster an entry to represent Greece at Eurovision in 2016 with her song “Come Tiki Tam”, which was rejected by the Greek broadcaster as they were searching for something different.
Now she’s ready to do it again! Eleni Foureira has stated in her interview with TheMusicOfNow.com (click here to read the full interview) that she still wants to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest. She stated: “I would love to represent Greece in the Eurovision contest. I believe that the whole experience of the Eurovision song contest is a wonderful journey. It is a joyful union of people with different cultures and music influences which can be really amazing. And since it is mostly pop oriented and I am a pop singer, yes I would really like to be a part of it some day.”
Eleni Foureira is currently storming the charts in Greece with her new up-tempo song “Mono Gia Sena”.
