Belarusian national broadcaster BTRC revealed the dates and the official artwork of this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus!
The 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Belarus in the Minsk Arena in the Belarusian capitol Minsk. The arena has a capacity for 15.000 spectators and has already hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2010.
The slogan for this years competition is #LightUp. The logo contains soundwaves which form a morning star together. The logo represents the creativity and the artistic talent of the young Junior Eurovision artists. This talent will turn the stage in Lisbon to a something magical like stars in the sky.
Jon Ola Sand, the Head of Live Events stated: “We are pleased to be working with BTRC this year and we have full confidence that they will host a great show in November. This will be the 16th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and we’re sure that this year’s competition will be once again a great way for children to showcase their musical talent.”
The 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on Sunday 25th November 2018. The time is yet to be confirmed.
